Dark colors of purple plum paint the glass foretelling the bold aromas of wild dark berries and animal/barnyard, with waves of blackberry and violet. On the palate is a wide range of flavors from coffee and chocolate, to licorice and dried flowers, to black cherry and nuts.
There's a nice balance here of tannins and acidity, so it's no wonder it works so well accompanied by a sampling of London Broil. This one can probably be found for around $18.
