This
Spanish red wine is made from 100%
Tempranillo grapes grown in the Rioja region. The last attempt in 2004 was a superior effort and the 2005 is less distinct, but with a 3 hour decanting it opened nicely. The nose is considerably milder but with hints of dusty fruits. Color is deep rose purple, mouth is tart dry cherries and glycerine, moderate tannins and low acidity. $12 range.
