Delicious aromas of ripe plums, cassis and spices and priced like an everyday wine (bottle retails for about $10) to have with a meal... but drinking like a complex Cabernet with rich chocolate and vanilla nuances, black sour cherries, good weight and texture, and firm tannins balanced with a pleasant acidity. Long thick finish with definite signs of Coca-Cola and maple syrup. Another great find at The Wine Room of Forest Hills.
