Made from 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo, ruby red in the glass, light weight, dry, mild tannins and unique softness. Wild cherry bouquet, notes of licorice, floral, leather, tobacco, bramble, and earthtones, while the palate is showing black cherry, balsamic, herbal, glycerine with good finish.
This was one of the less expensive bottles of reds on the wine list at Il Poeta, very nice for under $30.

Who is the artist that painted the young boy???
@ Anonymous, I'm not sure but have contacted the Winery to ask. Will let you know as soon as I get an answer. It looks like a Botticelli style, no?
