Ribera del Duero: Aged 18 months in oak, then 6 months in bottle before release, ruby red colors in the glass, first thing off the starting block is raw fresh wood (cedar), fresh fruit and minerality, slightly muted aromas, very dry tannins, on the palate glycerine, bacon, licorice and white pepper with floral notes.
