From the Rufina area of Tuscany, near Florence comes this good everyday wine with dark ruby/purple colors. Made from Sangiovese grapes by consulting winemaker Paolo Masi, having aromas of cranberry, blackberry and raspberry with flavors of green pepper and prune, and showing medium acidity with decent tannins and fruit finish.
